Abstract: |
Marine plant resources are very rich in China.Chemical composition of marine plants has specific chemical structures and extensive pharmacological activities, which have broad prospects for clinical development and application.Marine plants contain abundant biologically active substances, such as polysaccharides, terpenes, alkaloids, flavonoids, sterols and other ingredients. Most of these substances have good antibacterial,antiviral,anti-inflammatory,anti-oxidation,anti-tumor,treating cardiovascular diseases, immune regulation, and other effects. This article reviews the research progress at home and abroad on the chemical constituents and pharmacological effects of marine herbal medicines in recent years, introduces the status on the chemical constituents and pharmacological effects of marine plants. It is expected to provide reference for the development of new resources of traditional Chinese medicine. |
