| 维果茨基的＂最近发展区＂理论对大学英语听力教学的教学理念、教学模式都有重要的启迪。在更新大学英语听力教学理念方面,英语听力教学应该以培养学生的语言综合应用能力为目标,促进学生自主获得知识能力发展,是思维、社会、文化交融的过程。在改革大学英语听力教学模式方面,要实施有利于个性发展的分级教学,注重视听说相结合增强教学的互动性,注重授给学生以＂渔＂,以培育学生的自主意识。这样就能让学生的英语听力水平走在其现有发展水平的前面,提高其英语听力水平。 |

| The meaning of Vygotsky’s Zone of Proximal Development theory was expounded and implications of the theory for English listening teaching in China was revealed from the teaching philosophy and mode during teaching activities.Cultivation of students’ initiative and interaction in teaching has been explored for improving college students’ listening comprehension. |
